How
can Jason Deitch help you with
your personal injury case?
For the injured person (or their family), navigating
the legal and medical waters of a personal injury lawsuit
can be tedious and time consuming, at best. For most
people, that journey is difficult and extremely frustrating.
In my 15 years of practice, I have come to know several
top Boca Raton personal injury lawyers that
are in the best position to get the best possible result
in your case.
Jason has expertise with
Insurance Adjusters.
Over my 15 years of practicing
personal injury law in Boca
Raton, FL, , I have participated
in thousands of discussions
with insurance adjusters
and insurance defense attorneys.
People often ask me how insurance
adjusters arrive at their
valuation of a particular
claim. The one thing I have
heard insurance adjusters
say more than any other,
is “Before I
even looked at your client’s
injury, I looked at the name
of their Boca Raton personal
injury attorney and their
list of doctors.”
Here’s why they are more concerned with those handling your personal injury case than with the injury itself:
There are two types of Boca Raton
personal injury lawyers: those
who only settle cases, and those
who will go the distance and file
suit (litigate) cases in the event
a settlement cannot be reached
through negotiation.
For obvious reasons, insurance companies have a lot more respect for (are more afraid of) a lawyer who will fight for their client in a court of law, rather than accept a less than adequate settlement, or refer the case to another lawyer who will file a lawsuit. Based on your personal injury attorney, the insurance company’s defense attorney knows when the insurance company better be “on its toes” and when they can get off easy.
Jason knows how to work
with physicians.
Equally important is “Who
is your doctor?” Like any
profession, doctors establish reputations
over their years of practice. It
is an insurance adjuster or defense
attorney’s job to know your
doctor’s reputation.
For instance, some types of doctors are more respected
than others. Although I do not necessarily agree, inside
the personal injury world of insurance companies and
personal injury lawyers, chiropractors are not given
the same respect as an orthopedic surgeon or neurosurgeon.
Therefore, while I don’t discourage clients from
seeking chiropractic care, I strongly recommend that
the chiropractor that you see is affiliated with an
medical doctor who will oversee your care. Fair or
unfair, perception is a huge part of what an insurance
adjuster, defense attorney, or even a juror will use
to determine what they believe your case is worth.
Jason will be your navigator in the personal
injury waters.
Generally, I do not actually work on your case, rather,
I am your navigator, your case manager, the person
who recommends and oversees the entire case. This frees
you up to heal and be available for doctor visits without
the added stress of constantly having to follow up
on every detail to be certain your personal injury
claim is being processed properly.
I will maintain professional responsibility on your
case until your case is closed. I will be available
to speak with you throughout your case, and communicate
directly with your lawyer and doctors in an effort
to keep you informed. Additionally, I will monitor
your medical care so I can make recommendations to
you regarding proposed diagnostic procedures, surgery,
2 nd opinions, etc.
The lawyer and doctors that I
refer for my clients do not pay
me to be in my “network.” Participation
in my network is by invitation
only, and I am paid a referral
fee of 25% out of the attorney’s
fee earned by your lawyer. As my
fee is contingent upon the settlement
or judgment obtained on your behalf,
it is in my best interest to work
with, and direct you to the best
of the best.
I look forward to assisting you
with your personal injury claim
and helping you get through the
process with confidence. |
